Teachers: Why should you bring your class to Expo?
Here are just a handful of the many activities available at Expo 2007:
Main Expo Competitions:
- Cantilever Crane Conundrum
- Build a cantilever structure that will hold the greatest mass
- Mobile Egg Hurling Vehicle
- Construct a mousetrap powered vehicle that will transport and launch an egg at a target
- Reactive Rocket
- Use a chemical reaction to launch an object as high as possible
- Engineering Video Project
- Make a short video relating to an engineering topic
- Sudoku Master
- Compete in a Sudoku tournament to find the true Sudoku Master
Robotics:
- Software Competition
- Develop an artificial intelligence script to compete in a virtual competition
- Hardware Competition
- Design a robot that is capable of autonomous or remote control navigation
Other events during Expo:
- Many hands-on, interactive quick competitions
- Team based problem solving events
- Scavenger hunts

General Information
Days for Expo:
- Kindergarten-6th grade is on Thursday, April 19th
- 7th-12th grade is on Friday, April 20th
- Open to all on April 21st
Expo is open from 9am-4pm each day.
Pricing:
- Kids: $4
- Adults: $6
- Teachers/Chaperones: Free
We recommend that you have no more than eight students per chaperone.
Parking Information: Bus drivers may drop off the students on the east side of Breese Terrace, as shown on the map. Drivers will need to drive north on Breese Terrace and stop once they reach the Engineering Centers Building. Signs will be posted to designate the correct location, and volunteers will be on-hand to assist as well. Once the students have checked in, the bus driver will be directed by volunteers to park on the far west side of campus, and a map will be provided once they arrive. Pick-up and departure will occur in the same location as drop-off.

Register your school with this online form. This form is used simply as a notification of intent to attend Expo - please fill out a Final Registration Form once you are sure your school or group can attend, and bring it to Expo with payment or mail it back to us ahead of time.
