How do I sign up for the Sudoku/Egg Drop/Cross-the-Divide competitions?

These competitions do not have pre-registration on-line. To sign up for these events you just have to show up at Expo and go to the registration booths. Sign-up begins at 9 AM each morning. Please note, however, that the sign-up is first come first served so you may want to make sure you show up early to get a spot. For more information, please look at the registration page under the competitions tab.

I am working on the Marble Design and wondering if I have to use just one marble the entire time? Can I use multiple marbles or other objects?

Yes you can. The only requirement is that your design finishes with one marble passing a clearly marked finish line to signal the ‘stop’ time for the judges. In the previous part of the design you can use any type/quantity of objects (except those specifically restricted in the rules) to run your design.

How many competitions am I allowed to participate in?

Depending on which day you come, there are a variety of competitions. You are welcome to compete in as many competitions as are available. However, since the egg drop and cross-the-divide have limited space, you will only be allowed to sign-up for one of these competitions at a time and, depending on availability of spots, may be able to participate in the other one later in the day. To ensure participation, it is encouraged to sign-up early in the day to guarantee a spot.
