Hey everyone! I’m Saketh Peddireddy, a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science. This is my first year with Engineering EXPO and I am excited to serve as the School’s Co-chair.
Growing up, I was always fascinated by how things worked—whether it was taking apart toys or figuring out how everyday objects functioned—and that curiosity naturally led me to pursue a career in engineering, where I could solve problems and create innovative solutions. I joined EXPO to help foster that curiosity in future generations to keep the flame of engineering alive.
As the Schools Chair, I organize and manage school participation for Schools Day. This role involves several key tasks, including contacting schools, managing the lottery selection process to ensure fair participation, and coordinating the various logistical aspects. I oversee scheduling, arrange transportation, and maintain clear communication with school representatives to ensure everything runs smoothly leading up to and during the event.
Outside of EXPO, I enjoy playing basketball and tennis with friends and playing various board games. Feel free to reach out to me at schools@engineeringexpo.wisc.edu.
