Heidi Schwertfeger

Hi! My name is Heidi Schwertfeger, and I’m a sophomore in Chemical Engineering. Growing up around Madison, I always loved going to all of the science-related events happening at UW-Madison. I’m so excited to have the opportunity to give back to my community and inspire the next generation to consider engineering!

This is my second year with EXPO, but my first year as the Outdoor Logistics chair. I’m responsible for coordinating any activities happening outside, working with UW-Madison and the City of Madison for the usage of outdoor spaces, and organizing the buses on Schools Day that bring visitors to our event.

Outside of EXPO, I enjoy baking, hiking, and going to farmer’s markets.
