Engineering EXPO is a two-day large-scale STEM event that invites over 3,000 middle school students to the UW-Madison Engineering campus to inspire them to be the next generation of engineers with keynote speakers, engaging hands-on activities, and demos from 50+ engineering student organizations. This year’s theme will be announced soon! Our event will take place Friday, April 11th 9 AM – 2 PM and Saturday, April 12th 9 AM – 2 PM.
Hundreds of volunteers will be needed for EXPO 2025 to run smoothly. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and free bagel!
Volunteer sign-up is not open yet. Check back closer to EXPO to sign-up to volunteer!
Some of the volunteering tasks include: checking in schools, participating in and supervising activities for visitors, setting up and taking down student and industry exhibits, and checking in and distributing information to volunteers.
- Volunteers should be comfortable talking to youth and adults.
- Most volunteers will be inside, but please be prepared for the weather.
Volunteers are separate from student exhibits. If you are interested in being a student exhibitor at EXPO please visit our Exhibitors tab above.
